In 1978, Carl mounted a comeback that included a tour of the U.S. and the U.K. and led to a U.K. charting album, "Ol' Blue Suede's Back" on the Jet label. This DVD is effectively a souvenir of Carl Perkins' "comeback" campaign. The playlist comprises the original 1978 album "Ol' Blue Suede's Back" plus an uncovered follow-up album as well as a pair of outtakes from the same sessions. Special features include a BBC Radio London interview with rock specialist Charlie Gillett the week of the album's release plus a handful of songs that Carl performed live on Radio 1's "It's Rock'n'Roll" a week later, backed by a superb studio band including Dave Edmunds on guitar.
